What is used today

Third-party sites
If you click an external merchant or affiliate link, that third-party site may set its own cookies or similar technologies under its own policies. Fix My MOT is an eBay affiliate partner, and the example parts links surfaced through the service are found on eBay. Fix My MOT does not control those third-party cookies.
Consent for UK, EEA, and Switzerland visitors
Fix My MOT is configured to use Google's certified CMP through AdSense Privacy & messaging for covered traffic. Google decides whether and when its consent message is shown based on region and the publisher's configuration. Where Google's consent flow applies, users can review or revisit those choices through the on-site privacy settings entry point.
Managing storage
You can clear site data through your browser settings at any time. Where Google's revocation flow is available, you can also use the site's Privacy & cookie settings entry point to reopen the relevant message. If that re-open action is not available, it usually means Google's message is not currently active for your region or session, or that browser or ad-blocking settings prevented the revocation API from loading.
